As an Application Architect specializing in Hybrid Cloud Management, you will manage the overall application system, ensuring seamless interactions between components. You will establish technology standards, translate business objectives into technology standards, and select/define/enforce consistent products, vendors, methodologies, and standards. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Define Technology Standards: Establish and enforce technology standards, ensuring consistency across the application system, and translating business objectives into actionable technology plans. • Manage Application Support: Ensure application support, performance, availability, and scalability, while maintaining the functional interface to the application infrastructure. • Consult on Cloud Management: Provide expert consultation to clients on Cloud Management strategies and roadmaps, leveraging your deep expertise in Cloud platforms and architectural patterns. • Resolve Issues and Tickets: Manage issues and tickets across stacks in a Cloud-hosted application, utilizing your proficiency in various technologies, including Java, Open Systems, DBMS, Mainframe, EAI, C++, and .NET. • Enforce DevOps Methodologies: Apply your knowledge of DevOps methodologies to ensure seamless interactions between components and efficient application delivery. This position can be performed from anywhere in the United States of America. • Deep Expertise in Cloud Platforms: Proven experience with Cloud platforms, including the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems. • Proficiency in Multiple Technologies: Experience with a range of technologies, including Java, Open Systems, DBMS, Mainframe, EAI, C++, and .NET, with the ability to apply this knowledge to resolve complex technical issues. • Architectural Patterns and DevOps: Deep understanding of architectural patterns and DevOps methodologies, with experience in applying these principles to ensure seamless interactions between components and efficient application delivery. • Technology Standardization: Experience in establishing and enforcing technology standards, translating business objectives into actionable technology plans, and selecting/defining/enforcing consistent products, vendors, methodologies, and standards. • Consulting on Cloud Management: Experience in providing expert consultation to clients on Cloud Management strategies and roadmaps, with the ability to leverage expertise in Cloud platforms and architectural patterns to drive business outcomes. • Familiarity with EAI Tools: Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools and technologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless interactions between components. • Conversant with Mainframe: Understanding of Mainframe technologies, including the ability to manage and maintain applications hosted on Mainframe platforms. • Solid Understanding of DBMS: Deep understanding of Database Management Systems (DBMS), including the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient database systems.
