Who We Are

Forsite is a leading provider of integrated solutions for energy infrastructure, natural landscapes and wildfire protection. Our staff are industry leaders in forestry, technology, aerial patrol, LiDAR & imagery capture/processing, analytics, strategic planning, resource and land management/stewardship and professional forestry. What You Will Do

As a Seasonal Field Forester, you will join Forsite’s Professional Resources team, an internal workforce development program that places developing professionals on rotating field assignments across our US Forestry service teams. You will work closely under the direct supervision of a Professional Forester or Natural Resource Specialist, with most of your time dedicated to the execution of forest inventory services. This entails the collection of data utilizing both conventional techniques for timber cruising and cutting-edge LiDAR technology-assisted methods, aimed at developing precise estimates of marketable timber volume and providing clients with comprehensive insights into forest health and condition.

Alongside core inventory responsibilities, opportunities may arise to rotate through a range of assignments across multiple service teams, including Forest Health Management activities such as harvest boundary designation, riparian buffers, planting administration, and forest road management. The Professional Resources program works across multiple project types and services within a full field season, building the technical breadth and adaptability that distinguishes a strong, well-rounded natural resource professional. High-performing team members are considered for extended seasonal placements or permanent positions within Forsite’s US Forestry service teams.
