NOVO Health Services is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to support our healthcare linen distribution operation. In this role, you will transport clean linen products to healthcare facilities and return soiled linen to our processing facility, helping ensure hospitals and healthcare providers have the products they need to care for patients.

Position Summary

The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of clean and soiled healthcare linen products between NOVO facilities and customer locations. This position requires adherence to all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and customer service expectations while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned local routes.
- Load, unload, and secure linen carts for transport.
- Deliver clean linen products to customer locations.
- Retrieve and transport soiled linen back to the processing facility.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate transportation and delivery documentation.
- Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Follow OSHA requirements and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, transportation leadership, and plant operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for assigned vehicles and trailers.
- Report maintenance concerns, accidents, delays, or safety issues promptly.
- Support transportation and plant operations as needed.

Qualifications

Required

- Valid CDL Class A License
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to meet DOT requirements, including medical certification
- Previous commercial driving experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Customer-focused attitude and professional communication skills

Preferred

- Experience in route delivery, logistics, transportation, or healthcare distribution
- Experience operating tractor-trailers in local delivery environments
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver loaded linen carts.
- Ability to climb in and out of commercial vehicles throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.
