Job Title: Electronics Test Technician (2nd/3rd Shift) Job Description This role focuses on performing acceptance-level testing of electronic equipment, including displays, servers, and computers, on 2nd or 3rd shift. The Electronics Test Technician ensures that all products meet established quality standards by executing detailed test procedures, documenting results accurately, and collaborating with engineering and other technical teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Responsibilities
- Conduct acceptance-level testing of electronic products, including displays, servers, and computers, in accordance with departmental test procedures.
- Follow detailed test procedures, quality procedures, change orders, and other operating instructions accurately and consistently.
- Properly document test results and complete all required paperwork in line with departmental and quality standards.
- Record all failures clearly and accurately on Failure Report Forms to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and schematics to perform testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Use oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment to diagnose, verify, and evaluate product performance.
- Interface with the engineering department, test equipment departments, and other relevant teams to communicate test failures, clarify requirements, and support process improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on test processes, documentation, and product issues encountered during testing.
Essential Skills
- Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent military training in electronics.
- Hands-on experience with electronics, including testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies or systems.
- Proficiency in soldering for electronic components and assemblies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electronic and hardware issues.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and electronic schematics.
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes for measurement, diagnostics, and verification of electronic signals.
- Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow quality procedures, test procedures, change orders, and operating instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and technical teams to address test failures and process issues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience conducting acceptance-level testing of displays, servers, computers, or similar electronic equipment.
- Familiarity with departmental quality standards and structured test documentation practices.
- Comfort working with test equipment departments and cross-functional technical teams.
- Experience in process improvement or experience contributing to enhancements in testing workflows and documentation.
Work Environment This position is scheduled for 2nd or 3rd shift, with standard hours of 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM for 2nd shift and 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM for 3rd shift. A shift premium applies to 2nd and 3rd shift work. Initial training takes place on 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM to ensure thorough onboarding and familiarity with procedures. The work environment is a technical, electronics-focused setting where you will regularly handle displays, servers, computers, and related electronic assemblies. You will work with oscilloscopes and other test instruments at dedicated test stations, following structured procedures and documentation standards. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and test equipment teams in a production or lab environment that emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to established processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
