Are you an experienced Electrical Drafter looking to work on high-impact projects that support the modernization of critical power infrastructure? In this position, you'll collaborate with engineers and design professionals to support digital transformation initiatives across the nuclear power sector, utilizing advanced drafting tools and technologies to deliver solutions that improve plant reliability, efficiency, and safety.

What You'll Do
- Create detailed electrical and instrumentation/control drawings, including: Wiring diagrams
- One-line diagrams
- Schematics
- Electrical layouts
- As-built documentation
- Develop and modify complex electrical and control system designs in both 2D and 3D environments.
- Transform engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CADD tools to develop, revise, and maintain project documentation.
- Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and supporting project documentation.
- Incorporate client comments and design revisions into drawing packages.
- Produce and maintain as-built drawings reflecting field modifications and final installation conditions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Support modernization projects involving advanced digital control systems and next-generation nuclear technologies.
- Travel periodically to nuclear facilities for field verification, outage support, and site implementation activities.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 4+ years of electrical drafting experience supporting power generation, industrial, utility, or related projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Experience creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.
- Working knowledge of electrical design principles and power generation systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to drafting accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Nuclear power industry experience.
- Experience supporting electrical controls, instrumentation, or digital control system projects.
- Familiarity with engineering design workflows within utility, energy, or industrial environments.
- Experience working directly with engineers, project teams, and clients.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid position offering a combination of office and remote work. Candidates with extensive nuclear industry experience may be eligible for greater remote flexibility. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams while supporting projects across the nation's nuclear power fleet. Travel averages approximately one week per month to maintain plant access credentials and support project activities, with additional travel possible during outages or implementation phases. Because of the nature of the work, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain nuclear plant access, including successful completion of background screening, drug testing, psychological evaluation, export control review, and site badging requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $51.00 - $77.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
