Job Description:

The HR Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function while serving as a key resource for employees and leaders. This position is responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating HR programs and communications, assisting with payroll and attendance administration, supporting recruiting activities, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices. The HR Administrator plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service to associates and supports a positive employee experience.

YOUR ROLE:

·  Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, attendance, and general HR matters.

·  Coordinate and support onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation, employment documentation, and system setup.

·  Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

·  Assist with attendance tracking, reporting, leave administration, and related employee documentation.

·  Support payroll processes by reviewing employee data, processing employment changes, and coordinating information with payroll partners.

·  Prepare reports, presentations, communications, and metrics related to staffing, attendance, turnover, and other HR initiatives.

·  Support recruiting activities by posting jobs, reviewing applications, conducting initial phone screens, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and assisting with pre-employment processes.

·  Partner with hiring managers and the Human Resources Manager to ensure positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

·  Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, surveys, and plant communication efforts.

·  Assist with training coordination, recordkeeping, and compliance documentation.

·  Partner with supervisors and leadership to ensure consistency in HR processes and practices.

·  Maintain HR files and documentation in accordance with legal and company requirements.

·  Develops in-depth knowledge of all MasterBrand strategic business units. Leverages ideas from other reviews and co-workers to provide value-added recommendations and best practices to others.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

·  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·  High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

·  Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.

·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

·  Experience working with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems preferred.

·  Basic knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations principles preferred.

·  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

·  Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

·  Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

·  Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Relevant skills, experience, and qualifications, including bilingual capabilities, will be considered in determining compensation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

·  Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

·  High school diploma or GED required.

·  Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources, administrative, recruiting, payroll, or related business experience required.

·  Experience supporting employee onboarding, recruiting coordination, records management, scheduling, payroll, attendance administration, or HR operations preferred.

·  SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·  Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.

·  Occasionally required to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.

·  Ability to move throughout office and manufacturing environments.

·  Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

·  Primarily office-based within a manufacturing facility.

·  Regular interaction with production associates and leadership on the manufacturing floor.

·  Moderate noise levels when working in plant areas.

·  Personal protective equipment (PPE) required when entering production areas.

·  Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and frequent interaction with employees at all levels.

Compensation Range:
$25.50-34.22

*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors
