The Loan Verification Specialist is responsible for reviewing and validating loan application information to ensure each application is accurate, complete, and ready for the next stage of the review process. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and investigation skills to identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential concerns.

What You'll Do:

- Review and verify information provided in loan applications.
- Investigate documentation discrepancies.
- Conduct additional research when needed.
- Review applicant’s ability to repay.
- Investigate system-generated alerts and identify potential gaps or inconsistencies.
- Ensure required information and documentation are complete and accurate before moving applications to the next stage.
- Support the preparation and finalization of contract terms based on verified information.
- Communicate with applicants using established processes
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the verification process.
- Take ownership of assigned applications and follow established procedures and guidelines.

Education

North America - Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Philippines – Minimum of 2 years post-secondary or equivalent is required
Costa Rica – No Minimum requirement
United Kingdom – No Minimum requirement

Trinidad & Tobago - Have a minimum of 3 CXC passes inclusive of English A

Experience

Preferably 1+ years of Loan Verification Specialist experience in a call center environment

Financial Services industry experience would be an asset
