Senior IT Specialist, Blue Yonder/ Discrete Support

The Senior IT Specialist – Contract Logistics IT is responsible for providing technical support and expertise for warehouse management systems, with a strong focus on Blue Yonder/JDA Discrete WMS and its related infrastructure.

The role supports the global Contract Logistics organization by ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of warehouse applications while coordinating with infrastructure, logistics, regional IT teams, and external software providers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for Blue Yonder/JDA Discrete WMS and related warehouse applications.

- Support WMS infrastructure including MOCA, MS SQL, Citrix, Jasper Reports, NiceLabel, Page Builder , and other connected applications.

- Troubleshoot incidents and resolve technical issues through ticketing and support processes.

- Coordinate system administration and infrastructure-related activities with internal IT teams and external providers.

- Provide technical consultation regarding WMS infrastructure, configuration, integrations, and processes.

- Support the stability, availability, and performance of warehouse management systems.

- Collaborate with global and regional IT, infrastructure, logistics, and warehouse project teams.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of WMS support processes.

Minimum Work Experience

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT, logistics systems, or warehouse management systems.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder/JDA Discrete WMS .

- Strong experience in WMS infrastructure support and configuration.

- Experience working with MOCA and SQL .

- Experience in an international or global IT environment is highly desirable.

Education and Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Business Administration , or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of Blue Yonder/JDA Discrete WMS .

- Very good knowledge of SQL and warehouse application infrastructure.

- Knowledge of Citrix, databases, integrations, and related WMS applications is desirable.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Customer and service-oriented mindset.

- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage technical incidents.

- Fluent English required.
