About this role

Build something monumental for Healthcare!

At Tandem Health we’re reimagining healthcare by putting clinicians first. Our platform - designed by clinicians, for clinicians - is built on deep insight into real-world pain points, with intuitive medical notes and workflows that truly support patient care.

We’re a fast-scaling health-tech company backed by top investors and expanding globally. We move fast, stay curious, and believe building something that matters starts with an extraordinary team. If you're passionate about impact and innovation, we'd love to meet you!

About the Role

This is a build-from-scratch opportunity: a newly created FP&A seat within our finance team, for someone who wants to define how this company does forecasting and business analysis, not just maintain someone else's process. You'll own budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and business analysis, working closely with department heads, Commercial, and Product/Engineering to answer the question: what is driving our performance, and what should we do about it?

Reporting to our Finance Director, you'll build the models, dashboards, and business cases that inform pricing, investment, headcount, and resource allocation decisions across a fast-growing, multi-country SaaS business - and you'll build the forecasting tech stack from the ground up, using modern, readily available tools rather than implementation-heavy legacy systems. We need to move fast and stay agile, and we want someone who thinks the same way. If you enjoy partnering across functions, translating data into a clear narrative, and shaping decisions before they're made - not just reporting on them after the fact - we'd love to hear from you.

What you will do

- Own the annual budget and rolling forecast, and build management reporting and the board pack from the ground up, giving leadership a clear, timely view of business performance.
- Build and maintain KPI tracking and dashboards to monitor the metrics that matter most to the business, including ARR bridge, NRR/GRR, CAC payback, and unit economics by market and segment.
- Develop business cases, scenario modelling, and unit economics analysis to support key strategic decisions.
- Support pricing, investment, headcount, and resource allocation decisions with rigorous financial analysis.
- Run monthly budget vs. actual and track department spend, partnering with department heads to align financial results with business insights.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Product/Engineering, and other teams to combine financial data with operational context.
- Own the build-out of our forecasting tech stack, choosing modern, agile tools over implementation-heavy legacy systems.

What you bring

- Senior-level FP&A experience within a B2B SaaS company, ideally in a high-growth or scaling environment, with a track record of owning planning and reporting end to end rather than supporting someone else's process.
- Hands-on ownership of a full budget and forecast cycle, including board reporting.
- Deep working knowledge of SaaS metrics, including how ARR, billings, deferred revenue, and recognised revenue relate and why they diverge.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience in forecasting, scenario planning, and unit economics.
- A track record of translating financial data into actionable insight for non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfort working across multiple business lines or countries, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments, with an eye for what drives performance in each.
- Experience setting up or improving FP&A processes and tooling from scratch, rather than only operating within an existing one.
- Hands-on and detail-oriented, but equally comfortable zooming out to the strategic picture.
- Clear communicator and natural cross-functional partner, able to build trust with department heads and leadership alike, and to challenge them with data.
- A growth mindset and genuine enthusiasm for helping a scaling company build stronger financial foundations.

Bonus Points

- Experience selecting or implementing modern FP&A/forecasting tools in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with BI tooling.
- Exposure to the health-tech or digital health sectors.
- Experience partnering directly with Commercial or Product teams on pricing or growth decisions.
- Experience supporting a funding round or investor reporting.
