Join WKKC Mexicali and gain hands-on experience working on real projects that improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency. You'll collaborate with engineers, learn industry-leading maintenance practices, work with SAP, and help drive improvements that make a measurable impact on plant operations.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Work on real projects that improve manufacturing equipment performance.
- Learn how to manage maintenance activities using SAP.
- Analyze maintenance data and turn insights into improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and automation specialists.
- Support equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
- Help develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and uptime.
- Present ideas and recommendations that can impact the business.
- Gain valuable experience in a global manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Automation, Electronics Engineering , or a related field.
- Final semesters of your degree or completing a required internship/practicum.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for solving problems.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial equipment.
- Interest in automation, controls, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.

INTERN REQUIREMENTS:

- Active medical coverage through your university or private insurance.
- Availability to work 25-30 hours per week .
- Available to work on-site at our Mexicali plant (Monday-Friday) .
- Interest in building a career in manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, or engineering.
- Intermediate English skills are a plus.
