About the Role

The Sr. Physical Security Supervisor supports the day-to-day security operations of an assigned corporate campus operating on a 24/7 basis. This role is responsible for the oversight of contracted security officers, access control administration, incident response, and daily coordination with Facilities, HR, and site leadership to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

This position is onsite at our corporate headquarters in Northridge, CA

Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned.

- Oversees daily physical security operations across the campus, including guard force performance, post coverage, and patrol activity.
- Conducts daily walkthroughs and safety inspections of interior/exterior areas, parking areas, and high-risk zones, coordinating corrective action with Facilities and EHS as needed.
- Leads shift briefings for contracted security officers and performs regular spot checks to confirm posts are staffed, equipped, and operating to standard.
- Manages onboarding and offboarding of contracted security personnel, including training compliance, roster accuracy, and access provisioning/deactivation.
- Administers the campus access control program, including badge issuance, visitor management, and escort procedures for restricted areas.
- Monitors CCTV systems and alarm platforms to detect and respond to security or safety concerns in real time.
- Acts as an on-site incident lead during emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement, fire, and EMS as required.
- Supports Global Security, HR, and Employee Relations investigations by reviewing camera footage, access logs, and building factual timelines while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Leads awareness campaigns; promotes a culture of preparedness and vigilance with employees and visitors.
- Plans and executes security coverage for on-site events, including staffing, access controls, and post-event debriefs.
- Maintains incident logs and compiles regular reports on security trends, KPIs, and corrective actions for site leadership.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with vendor security partners to ensure adherence to performance standards and contract requirements.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees and visitors on day-to-day security matters and campus safety questions.
- Reviews and recommends updates to physical security procedures to align with industry best practices.
- Supports workplace violence prevention efforts through observation, reporting, and coordination with the broader security team.
- Maintains strong relationships with local law enforcement, fire, EMS and other agencies to support effective incident response and community coordination

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

- Bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience in physical security operations, including direct or indirect oversight of contracted security officers
- Or, advanced degree and 1+ years of experience

Nice to Have :

- Experience supervising or coordinating internal or contracted guard force personnel in a corporate or campus environment
- Working knowledge of access control systems, CCTV platforms, and incident reporting tools
- Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions during emergency situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in logs and documentation
- Experience supporting HR/ER investigations in a security capacity
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, occasional weekends to support 24 coverage
- Familiarity with workplace violence prevention/ threat assessment principles
- Professional security certifications (e.g., APP, CPO, PSP ) a plus
- CPR/ AED Certification

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$75,000.00 - $127,000.00

For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $97,000 - $165,000 USD.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
