General understanding and application of basic Lean Methodology
Job Description
- Effectively retrieve, understand, and adhere to QAP documentation.
- Demonstrates basic problem-solving skills.
- Perform proper rigging techniques where applicable.
- Properly completes required documentation.
- Keep a clean workstation, understand and be able to train on 5-S principles
You are meant for this job if:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Generally, 3 or more years in FMCTI assembly, high pressure hydro test and paint
- Self-motivated
- Ability to assemble and disassemble with no supervision.
- Ability to train entry level assemblers grade 9.2 and below.
- Ability to perform autonomous maintenance on assembly and test equipment
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of part reports an TFMC assembly requirements.
- Good organization, interpersonal, and interaction skills
- Demonstrates basic problem-solving skills.
- Capable of diagnosing, performing, and solving problematic builds and high-pressure hydro test.
- Be forklift certified, where applicable
- Certified on electric pallet jacks, where applicable.
- Ability to lead in a team environment
- Ability to paint parts to spec, when required.
Wokr Environment:
Spends 95% of the time in a manufacturing/shop environment and 5% in an office environment. Will be exposed to possible hazards including working with high-pressure equipment, working in limited spaces, high noise, inclement weather, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations and shop/field traffic .
Physical Demands:
Frequent walking, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing upward, crawling in limited workspaces, and repetitive lifting of components up to 50 lbs.
