Job Description

We are looking for a Ferrous Receiver to join our team in Drummondville .

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for receiving, sorting and handling ferrous metals. The position is mainly outdoors , with some tasks performed indoors depending on operational needs.

This position focuses on manual work, material handling and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for someone reliable, active and comfortable with physical and outdoor work .

What you will be responsible for :

- Welcome customers and follow established procedures;
- Unload, sort, inspect and handle materials;
- Identify and classify ferrous metals;
- Weigh and organize materials;
- Prepare shipments and receive materials;
- Participate in snow removal activities on the site using a loader;
- Maintain a clean and organized work area;
- Work safely and follow health and safety procedures;
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

To join our team :

- You have experience operating a forklift with forks or a loader;
- You are comfortable with manual and physical work, including repetitive tasks;
- You are comfortable working mainly outdoors in various weather conditions;
- You are reliable, punctual, resourceful and safety-conscious;
- You are a team player and enjoy working with others;
- You have experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment (asset);
- You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset).

Additional Information

* The $1,000 bonus will be paid in three equal installments: the first after 3 months of service (provided the probationary period is successfully completed), the second after 6 months of service, and the third after 9 months of service.
