Overview:
Under general direction, performs a variety of duties including maintenance of electrical equipment, signal systems, electric motors, generators, and electronic controls.

What you will do:

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, motors, generators, and controls

- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.

- Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, wiring, and other electrical components to specifications.

- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical equipment and systems.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, welding equipment, and other maintenance equipment as needed.

- Support other maintenance team members through collaboration and communication.

- Work safely, wear PPE, and follow all safety procedures

- May operate other machinery as required.

- Assists other maintenance personnel in various maintenance and construction tasks as required.

- Assists team to maintain safety and good housekeeping practices in shop and work area.

Qualifications

- Experience reading electrical blueprints and schematics

- Three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.

- Basic computer and troubleshooting skills.

- HS Diploma or GED preferred

- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

- Positive attitiude

- Ability to work Overtime as needed

- Ability to be "On-Call" as needed

- Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods

- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
