Department Information
The Emissions Compliance department consists of approximately 46 professionals who work with environmental regulatory agencies to manage engine emissions and vehicle GHG compliance. Each year, we perform compliance and regulatory tests on more than 1,000 on-board diagnostics and prepare more than 15,000 pages of documentation per engine to ensure PACCAR’s engines comply with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), California Air Resources Board (CARB), and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) regulations.
Requisition Summary
Join the Emissions Compliance team to lead program management of production compliance activities to provide testing and reporting that demonstrated our products comply with critical emissions, diagnostics, and related requirements. A successful candidate will be highly self-directed, adaptable, an excellent problem-solver, and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Coordinate Production Compliance program activities across multiple departments at the Technical Center and other PACCAR divisions. Support intra-departmental discussions with compliance project deliverable status.
- Manage large program budget encompassing multiple projects including developing annual and longer-term budgets in coordination with Operations management, project managers, and Accounting, and provide updated monthly forecasts.
- Support team members to set up, maintain, track, and close projects in the project tracking system. Facilitate internal production compliance project review meetings on a monthly cadence.
- Support compliance teams in facilitating test article accounting and disposition at the conclusion of testing.
- Track and approve purchase orders.
- Monitor the department continuous improvement activities. Personnel training Tracking and Lead Records retention for the department,
- Facilitate agency discussion topic creation and readiness reviews.
- Facilitate Compliance and Product Development Engineering interface meetings.
- PACCAR currently requires 100% onsite work.
Qualifications
- Minimum of seven years professional experience including three years’ experience in a program or project manager role.
- Proficiency with project and portfolio tracking tools and MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Working knowledge of production compliance, regulatory processes, product development or other related activites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Travel up to 15% is required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Program Management Professional certification preferred.

Additional Job Board Information
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors, including education, training, and experience. The salary range for this position is $104,000–$162,000 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
