University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Lake Orion, MI. This role involves providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful environment.

- Monitor and report changes in clients health status and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team or family members.

- Ensure clients homes are kept clean and safe, assisting with light housekeeping as needed.

- Adhere to care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Lake Orion, MI.

- Ability to pass background checks and comply with all health and safety standards.
