About this role

This position is responsible for all planning and scheduling activities to support the manufacturing production of all finished goods. Coordinate paperwork, compliance to quality and safety standards established within Develey policies/guidelines and specifications. Develops daily production schedules for finished goods in accordance with the forecasted requirements for Develey Products. Responsible for the top line inventor audit process to insure production orders are issued timely and completely. This individual must execute planning and scheduling task / functions in a timely manner, while exercising a high degree of accuracy and troubleshoots materials that need to be consumed and follow through the issuing of materials to production orders.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

- Develops, publishes, and maintains production schedules, balancing inventory resources and

capacity. Coordinates corrective actions to production schedules when dictated by change in

product requirements.

- Maintains the systems relative to packaging shop order, evaluation and closeouts to keep system

operating effectively.

- Ensures effective and ongoing communications with the appropriate production management, warehouse, and purchasing personnel on production requirements and changes.

- Documents and tracks production performance against scheduling requirements.

- Monitors status of product releases prior to scheduling for packaging.

- Works closely with the Purchasing and Inventory, and Packaging Managers to coordinate the

introduction of the latest version effectivity dates.

- Monitors status of product releases prior to scheduling for packaging.

- Take ownership of any new SOPs and maintenance of existing ones that effect inventory operations.

- Monitor activities affecting SAP to ensure a proper reporting of inventory and activities.

- Monitor and report the existence of obsolete or unusable materials within the plant on a regular basis. Work closely with the procurement team to integrate new or changes to existing bills of material to minimize obsolescence.

- Using MRP and other tools to maintain finished goods to support the sales requirements to a 100 percent customer service level for Develey. Maintain clear and effective communication channels, both internally and externally, regarding issues that may affect this objective.

- Maintain ERP relative to production orders and close out to keep the system operating effectively.

- Instruct, train, orient, motivate and otherwise assist employees so that Quality, Safety, Productivity and Customer Service objectives are achieved.

- Serve as D3650 Key user for scanners.

- Interprets, applies and enforces all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules.

- Supports and participates in safety activities to achieve departmental and plant wide goals and objectives.

- Interprets, applies and enforces all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules.

- Adheres to all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules.

- Effectively interpret reports to schedule production activities and effectively consult plant personnel to meet specialized plant needs and coordinate operational requirements.

- Must communicate the schedule and all changes to plant personnel, including material changes.

- Coordinate schedules with the Material Planner (warehouse) and manufacturing department to ensure realistic plans based on throughout targets and asset utilization.

- Must input data for ERP work orders on a weekly basis ( MS Dynamics D3650Super User)

- Other duties may be assigned.

Other Requirements:

- Computer skills (Microsoft office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ERP system).

Professional Qualifications:

- Manufacturing Experience required with focus in production/operations research and planning/scheduling preferred.

- Strong decision-making skills.

- Aptitude in collecting data and technical analysis.

- Solid accounting or math skills or proven proficiency with working with figures.

- Ability to work independently and reliably.

- Strong decision-making skills

- Identifies key Stakeholders (internal and external) with whom to build effective relationships to support factory initiatives

Experience Required:

- 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling.

- Applicant must be a committed team worker with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent attention to detail.
