Job description

Responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the plant and equipment. Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance. Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals. Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.

Job Responsibility's

- Responsible for equipment adjustments, repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibrations as needed.

- Proficient in maintenance and troubleshooting of factory equipment.

- Ensure track equipment maintenance and repair schedule is being maintained.

- The organization and the inventory of the maintenance room

- Responsible for maintaining production tools separate from regular tools.

- Ensure an inventory of spare parts for equipment is being maintain.

- Performing, completing, and keeping up to date the Preventive Maintenance Schedule of all Machines.

- Completing and keeping up to date the Tagout/Logout book.

- Completing and keeping up to date the Production Tools Cleaning Log Form FS09

- Responsible for completing work orders on time.

- Responsible for the communication and discussion of equipment issues with third party vendors / companies.

- Responsible for the verification of the work done by third party vendors and signing paperwork.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- 1+ year of experience

- Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in multiple areas of the facility

- Basic handyman skills and comfort using common hand tools such as a drill, screwdriver, hammer, tape measure, level, and step ladder

- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch

- Ability to work in warehouse and office environments with loud noises and temperature changes

- Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, organization, and reliable attendance

Schedule and Benefits:

- Monday through Friday 1pm to 10pm schedule - open to Weekends and cold calls for emergency's

- Paid weekly
