The Vice President, Product Management role is responsible for helping to define platform strategy, conducting business & market trend analysis, managing requirement definition & solution design processes, and ensuring successful delivery/rollout of product enhancements to meet strategic product roadmap metrics for the Investment Accounting platform.

What we are looking for

Alpha Services Product team is looking to hire a lead Business Analyst to help define product strategy deliverables, design strategic end-to-end solutions, lead delivery of project requirements through the software development lifecycle and assist with implementing new project enhancements to meet our Investment Accounting strategic platform objectives. This includes working with key stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, and Client teams to bring new product enhancements/services into a client ready state.

The Alpha Services team is looking for qualified individuals with strong experience to lead product initiatives within the Investment Accounting platform. The successful candidate will have deep product/service domain knowledge in Investment Accounting/IBOR platforms, a strong background in requirements definition & solution design, and managing project delivery through the development lifecycle.

What you are responsible for

1) Manage and lead requirement definition and solution design for strategic product development initiatives within the Investment Accounting platform.

2) Ensure requirements/design solutions are well thought out from a component & end-to-end solution and are effectively documented.

3) Gain consensus with key stakeholders across Product, IT, Operations, and Client teams for end-to-end solution design/requirements.

4) Drive the delivery of product enhancements throughout the development lifecycle to meet timeline/cost commitments.

5) Apply strong business judgment to surface impediments/issues and provide practical, high impact options to resolve.

6) Utilize client requests, partner feedback, and market trend analysis to contribute to the strategic Product roadmap.

7) Assist with adoption of AI processes to help improve product management functions and delivery.

Education and Preferred Qualifications

1) Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or information systems.

2) Minimum 15-years financial services experience including practical application in product management and development.

3) Demonstrated strong product management, business analysis, or relevant operations experience as part of product development initiatives.

4) Have proven Investment Accounting subject matter expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: accounting, security valuation, cash management, and corporate actions/income.

5) Comfortable presenting to and interacting with key stakeholders including clients.

6) Proven strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills.

7) Ability to influence and work collaboratively across multiple organizations and stakeholders to reach common goals.

8) Organized with the demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

9) Competencies required: deep domain expertise, strong business analysis skills, analytical/problem solving skills, business/industry knowledge, practical experience with Agile/SDLC development, demonstrated teamwork and leadership, ownership mindset, strong written and verbal skills.

Salary Range:
$115,000 - $205,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
