Description
The Regional Director of Sales leads sales and marketing efforts for Dover Health's hospice and home health agencies across Missouri and Illinois, with responsibility growing as we expand into new states. This position plays a key role in achieving occupancy and revenue goals through strategic planning, data analysis, and direct sales oversight for assigned agencies. The Regional Director of Sales develops and implements strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate objectives, oversees forecasting and performance targets, and collaborates with senior leadership to build creative programs that strengthen referral networks and community engagement. This role partners closely with operations and agency teams to ensure each Dover Health agency delivers exceptional first impressions and provides a superior experience for patients, prospective patients, and their families.

- Lead and support sales and marketing activities across the assigned Dover Health region.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans designed to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue goals.
- Provide direct sales oversight and performance analysis for assigned agencies.
- Direct forecasting and establish performance targets that align with corporate growth objectives.
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership and agency Executive Directors to develop innovative outreach programs that identify, engage, and nurture key referral sources.
- Partner with operations and agency teams to ensure optimal first impressions of Dover Health.
- Create and execute market-specific strategies focused on lead generation, external business development, competitive analysis, and pricing optimization.
- Ensure that agency teams fully understand patient needs and expectations throughout the sales process and take action to deliver on those expectations.
- Support agencies in developing and maintaining a winning sales and marketing strategy tailored to their market.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service experience for all patients and prospective patients.
- Assist in the creation, management, and monitoring of sales and marketing budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and use data-driven insights to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee consistent and effective use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system across all agencies within the region.
- Lead training and coaching for agency team members on proper CRM utilization, ensuring accurate and timely entry of outreach and referral activity.
- Direct CRM-based sales performance reporting and integrate insights from CRM, financial and HER systems to drive strategic decision-making.
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage sales staff, ensuring alignment with Dover Health’s Core Values and cultural standards.
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned region to provide on-site coaching, evaluate agency performance and support field marketing initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $100,000-$115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of related sales management experience.
- At least five (5) years of successful leadership experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry, with multi-state responsibility.
- Ability to travel within assigned market is required.
- Ability to delegate assignments effectively based on individual skills, roles, and interests is required.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to link information to action and measurable results are required.
- Must possess sound organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must possess a general knowledge of laws and restrictions regarding Home Health and Hospice care, as well as a clear understanding of other levels of care.
- Current and valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current liability auto insurance.
- Self-motivated to accomplish goals with a strong sense of accountability for results is required.
- Passion to achieve results through self-motivation, initiative and proactive approach to problem solving with a sense of professional curiosity, the desire to learn new things and to find / recommend solutions to problems. Experience in lean operations or similar continuous improvement preferred.

- Travel within assigned market is required.
- This position involves juggling multiple projects simultaneously, which requires strong time management and organizational skills. There may be deadlines for hiring specific roles or initiatives.
