Job Description
HireArt is helping our client find a versatile and self-driven Systems Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise AI solutions while supporting core IT infrastructure and systems operations.
In this role, you'll serve as a full-stack owner for the Moveworks ServiceNow Platform , partnering with internal teams throughout the lifecycle of Agentic AI solutions—from discovery and architecture through integration, testing, implementation, and production launch.
You'll also provide hands-on L2/L3 systems support , serving as an escalation point for complex IT infrastructure and operational issues.
The ideal candidate has recent hands-on Moveworks experience and can confidently onboard new teams, support knowledge base ingestion, integrate Moveworks with other enterprise platforms, and manage implementations from initial stakeholder discussions through launch.
You're a strong communicator and independent problem solver who can balance strategic solution design with hands-on technical execution.

Work Environment: Hybrid / In-person
Expected Pay: $90.00–$95.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (usually 30+ hours/week)
Assignment Length: 4-month contract
As a Systems Engineer, You'll:
- Own the full delivery lifecycle of AI agents on the Moveworks ServiceNow Platform , including discovery, planning, solution architecture, development, tuning, testing, and production launch.
- Partner with internal customers to architect and develop high-impact Agentic AI solutions , helping teams identify new ways to apply AI and shape their AI roadmaps.
- Integrate the Moveworks ServiceNow Platform with enterprise systems in a secure, scalable, and performant manner to address complex business needs.
- Partner with engineering, product, and vendor teams, including Moveworks, on new rollouts while gathering customer feedback, evaluating emerging AI solutions, and informing technology decisions.
- Maintain, configure, and support core IT services, including networks, servers, virtualization, and cloud systems, while providing L2/L3 technical support .
- Serve as an escalation point for help desk and support teams, troubleshooting complex issues, identifying root causes, and driving timely resolution.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve IT processes, procedures, and systems to strengthen operational efficiency and reliability.

Whether you're writing custom Python scripts for a new AI workflow, assessing the broader AI vendor landscape, or troubleshooting a critical server issue, you'll take a proactive and hands-on approach to solving problems.
This role is ideal for a technical "doer" who enjoys combining modern AI and automation technologies with reliable enterprise IT operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5+ years of experience in a technical role such as:
- Forward Deployed Engineer
- Solutions Engineer
- Customer Success Engineer
- Solutions Architect
- Consulting Engineer
- Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Recent hands-on experience working with Moveworks .
- Experience designing, building, and launching full-stack workflows and automations .
- Strong experience working with REST APIs .
- Experience with iPaaS and automation technologies such as:
- Workato
- Azure Functions
- AWS Lambda
- ServiceNow Flow Designer
- Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as:
- Python
- JavaScript
- Golang
- Proven ability to operate across multiple business functions and technical domains.
- Strong adaptability and ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.
- Ability to independently evaluate complex technical factors, make sound decisions, and execute with minimal guidance.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience contributing architectural designs, technical ideas, and documentation across multiple project teams.

Recent Moveworks experience is the most valuable skill set for this position, as the successful candidate will help move ongoing projects forward.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently within the Moveworks environment and able to:

- Handle end-to-end discovery and stakeholder discussions.
