ERM is seeking an experienced, hands-on Office Manager for our 150+-person office in New York, NY , supporting the Great Lakes Northeast Business Unit. In this highly visible role, you will help ensure efficient day-to-day office operations while creating an engaging and welcoming workplace experience for our staff. You will partner closely with our Area Manager, Partners, vendors, and internal teams, bringing strong organization, initiative, a positive team mindset, and a commitment to high-quality support.

What Your Impact Is:

You will provide high-quality administrative and operational management for ERM's New York office and support the Great Lakes Northeast Business Unit. Your impact will span office operations, employee onboarding and engagement, facilities and vendor management, administrative systems, local events, health and safety, sustainability initiatives, and support for leadership and staff.

What You'll Bring:

Required

- 4+ years (7+ years preferred) of administrative, project management, or financial experience in a professional services/consulting environment preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively with employees across the globe.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Project) and Salesforce.
- Ability to work independently and manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach, with strong follow-through, adaptability in agile environments, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and logistics skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being a self-starter.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide operational and administrative support for office space oversight, including office organization, building maintenance issues, and internal and external office/people moves, as well as vendor and supply procurement processes.
- Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
- Manage office access and security systems and processes.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing office mail and Federal Express/UPS shipments.
- Manage BST Enterprise (GMS) for processing office timesheets and provide backup support for other business unit offices.
- Supervise office activities to promote expense control and productivity.
- Assist local Partners by providing Rydoo support for expenses and CWT support for travel and provide backup support for other business unit offices.
- Assist the local Health and Safety Lead with office-related needs.
- Provide new-hire onboarding training and serve as an office point of contact.
- Deliver high-quality document editing and formatting using ERM templates, ensuring proper organization, thorough proofreading, and an additional quality review to identify errors and inconsistencies.
- Manage office operations, including building relationships with property managers and vendors for office supplies, equipment, repairs, and maintenance, and review and approve supply requisitions.
- Support business unit Certificate of Insurance requests.
- Manage the development of and compliance with consistent procedures and policies for office activities, measuring results against standards and making necessary adjustments.
- Oversee local meetings and event coordination.
- Promote and drive ERM culture within the local office, including health and safety, morale, staff engagement, and sustainability.
- Liaise with the IT team regarding system updates, hardware requests, monthly calls, communications, and support for local staff.
- Support the Sustainability Network by collecting and manipulating North American business office data for public reporting.

For the  Office Manager position, the anticipated annual base pay is  $72,600–$92,900 (USD) . Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay subject to the sole discretion of ERM and its policies and procedures (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
