OVERVIEW

ALO is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. As the FP&A Analyst, Retail, you will support our fast-growing physical store footprint. This role will partner closely with Store Operations, Real Estate, and Planning teams to provide financial analysis, optimize store performance, and help guide investment decisions for new and existing stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support coordination and preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and management reporting deliverables for the Retail channel

- Partner with Accounting to support the monthly close process, including variance and accrual analysis

- Track and analyze store-level P&Ls, highlighting opportunities to improve profitability and cost structure

- Build and maintain weekly and monthly dashboards for store performance metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion, average order value, units per transaction, and sales per square foot

- Support planning processes for sales, payroll, and opex budgets at the store level

- Partner with Retail teams on store proformas, including IRR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis on new store openings

- Support post-opening reviews that compare new store performance against original proformas

- Other ad-hoc analysis across the business, as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

- 1-3 years of experience in finance-related work, corporate and/or operations finance. Experience in e-commerce, retail, apparel, or consumer sectors is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to summarize large amounts of data

- Proven time management and multiple task management capabilities

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and business needs

- Advanced competency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with planning systems and BI tools is a plus

- Experience supporting an ERP implementation is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
