Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager - Proprietary Program (Level M) to join the Rapid Space Capabilities Program Management team in Albuquerque, NM !
The Senior Manager will ensure safe, reliable, and mission-focused optical test, operations, and evaluation activities supporting government and commercial customers. This role combines program management, technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and facility stewardship.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
- Bachelor degree or higher or equivalent experience
- 10+ years performing in a leadership role
- 5+ years of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions
- 5+ years of experience working with Earn Value Management (EVM)
- Experience preparing and presenting executive level briefings
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master’s Degree or higher
- Directly participates in establishing, managing and administering multiple projects concurrently
- Experience in developing and managing technical, cost, and schedule metrics and technical performance measures (TPM)

Summary pay range: $204,000 -$276,000
