The Senior Product Manager, Rentals SEO is responsible for growing organic search traffic across Redfin Rentals, Rent.com and Apartment Guide. You'll identify, prioritize, and deliver SEO opportunities across all three properties, working closely with engineering, product counterparts, analytics, marketing, and other partners to improve organic search performance and take market share from competitors.
This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Director, Product - SEO.
About the role
- Set and deliver the SEO product strategy and roadmap across Redfin Rentals, Rent.com and Apartment Guide, prioritizing opportunities to grow traffic, rankings and market share.
- Translate opportunities into clear requirements for engineering, and partner with them from discovery through measurement.
- Maintain the SEO backlog for each site, balancing impact, effort and business priorities.
- Define success metrics forecast, and own performance reporting (traffic, rankings, competitive standing, project impact etc) for your properties, with regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks and investment needs.
- Drive SEO initiatives beyond on-site product work, including internal linking and digital PR.
- Partner with Analytics and Data Engineering to improve reporting and opportunity sizing.
- Monitor competitors and the search landscape to spot where the properties can gain or defend share.
About you
Who You Are
- Passionate about Redfin’s mission.
- 5+ years of technical and product-led SEO expertise, including hands-on use of rank tracking (e.g. Nozzle), SEO platforms (e.g. Semrush, Ahrefs), and AI search visibility tools (e.g. Profound).
- Strong data fluency - comfortable writing SQL (by hand or LLM) independently to investigate performance and surface opportunities.
- Proven experience translating product/SEO requirements into engineering-ready stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management, including with senior and executive leaders, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across product, engineering, analytics and marketing.
- Experience managing SEO across large-scale consumer sites or marketplaces, ideally in rentals, real estate, or another inventory-driven business.
Nice to Have
- Experience using Claude (or similar) to automate analysis, reporting or documentation;
- Python proficiency for data analysis/visualization.
- Experience leading SEO strategy and execution across multiple brands at once.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $159,500.00-$273,100.00 . The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
