General Summary
Under general supervision, this position assists with the administrative Human Resources (HR) and Safety support within the Region. Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding and training activities, delivering standardized orientation programs, maintaining confidential records, preparing communications, and assisting with the day-to-day administration of HR and Safety processes.

Essential Job Accountabilities

- Performs routine of administrative, human resources and office support functions to ensure daily operations run efficiently and professionally.

- Coordinate and deliver standardized safety orientations at office locations and job sites, either in person or virtually, using approved materials and established procedures.

- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including tracking pre-employment requirements, scheduling orientations, preparing onboarding documentation, supporting Workday transactions, and delivering standardized new hire orientation content.

- Coordinate with vendors and local management to schedule required safety regulatory training.

- Coordinate, schedule, track, and maintain records of required HR, safety, and regulatory training programs to ensure employees meet organizational and compliance training requirements.

- Coordinate with the Corporate Training & Development team to stay informed on available training programs and position-specific learning opportunities and communicate them to employees and management.

- Maintain confidential HR and training records in accordance with company policies and applicable record retention requirements while ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

- Provide administrative support for HR and Safety programs, policies, and communications; respond to routine process questions and escalate complex issues to appropriate HR or Safety leadership.

- Assist, support, and partner with management regarding programs and policies in all areas of Human Resources to ensure alignment and support of all HR objectives.

- Prepares drafts, processes edits and distributes a wide variety of information, (presentations, correspondence, reports, procedures, policies, etc.) some of which will be highly confidential and sensitive in nature, to ensure timely and accurate communications.

- Assist with audits, new program rollouts, EEO compliance, etc. to ensure clear understanding and compliance at the local level.
- Assist with various aspects of talent acquisition, including posting job requisitions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and attending recruiting events to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings (including meeting invites, agendas, materials, food/refreshment, meeting minutes), handles travel arrangements and maintains calendar to ensure deadlines are met.
- Comply, understand, and promote corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organization development, safety, or similar area of study required

Work Experience

- 0-2 years of office administrative experience
- Prior experience in Human Resources, Safety, or a related field a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personal information of employees.
- Proficiency with all MS Office products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Ability to clearly communicate information and deliver standardized orientation content in both in-person and virtual environments using approved materials and virtual meeting technology.

- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information.
- Ability to develop relationships.
- Ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Additional Requirements/Skills

- Ability and willingness to abide by the Company’s Code of Conduct
- Able and willing to travel across the Region, which could include overnight travel.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license

- Alternative shifts, including nights, weekends, and other non-standard schedules, may be required depending on project and client needs.

Base Salary Range:
$60,458.00 - $90,686.00
Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.  ​
