Job Description:

Director, HR Central

Parsons is looking for a Director, HR Central to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the Human Resources Shared Services (HR Central) team responsible for all U.S. and Canada onboarding, offboarding, audits and investigations, service awards, verification of employment, post-accident and background screenings, payroll support, unemployment claims, general employee HR support and other HR day to day programs and services across North America. In this role you will establish and implement HR shared services (HR Central) strategy and deliverables for the North America region.

Additionally you will oversee recruitment and retention efforts for the team; attracting, developing, and retaining HR talent. The successful candidate will participate in and lead projects aimed to enhance HR service delivery, and leverage technology to improve the employee experience. You’ll be responsible for collaboration with other HR Centers of Excellence (COE) leads and/or non-HR functional leads to drive alignment and coordination across services that have multi-disciplinary impacts.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Define operational targets and goals for the HR shared services team that are in line with the company’s overall business strategy.

- Develop and implement project change management plan; mid to larger enterprise-wide strategic projects will involve serving as the HR support center SME, identifying HR process, employee impacts, and supporting the implementation.

- Manages shared services function and team; leads annual goal-setting process, professional development, ongoing performance reviews, and monitoring of the progress of team members’ goals.

- Ensures optimal staffing levels of HR Central team by anticipating demand attributed to net headcount growth in combination with ongoing demand from existing workforce, internal stakeholder groups and external inquiries.

- Provides continuous coaching, mentoring, and support for the team members’ professional development.

- Courageous in sharing real-time, constructive feedback to help team grow and better deliver on priorities.

- Monitors and strategically plans for HR shared services SLOs and quality improvements.
Utilizes metrics, analytics, and dashboards to measure and monitor operating performance of HR Central service levels.

- Ensures organizational compliance with labor laws, wages, and policies/procedures.
Works with other stakeholders and exerts influence across employee experience, compliance, IT, and other departments to improve existing programs and/or create new policies and programs when needed.

- Oversees vendor management and administration for multiple providers/services.

- Researches and reports trending systems issues as reported by end-users; shares findings with system owners and HRIS Technology team to collaborate on timely and effective resolution.

- Leads efforts to support onboarding of employees from newly acquired companies, including formulating solutions for companies that are not fully integrated into Parsons systems, and ensuring that all required forms, policies and employment records are completed and obtained.

- Manages activities of two or more disciplines or a department/team.

- Ensures sensitive data is protected according to policies, procedures, and regulations.

- May oversee experienced level professionals and/or be responsible for subordinate managers.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources (or equivalent)

- 10+ years of demonstrated Human Resources experience

- 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience (or equivalent)

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

- Master's Degree preferred

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
