Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and manage the company’s Quality Assurance operation and ensure effective implementation of quality requirements across engineering, manufacturing, projects, and customer activities.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will provide leadership to QA engineers and quality personnel, oversee project-specific quality activities, and ensure that products and services meet applicable customer, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.

Location : Brea, CA

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000

Your Challenge:

- Lead, manage, and develop the Quality Assurance engineering and project quality organization.
- Assign and prioritize QA resources to projects and company initiatives.
- Provide QA leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from contract review through manufacturing, testing, inspection, and delivery.
- Ensure project quality requirements are identified, understood, and effectively implemented.
- Provide quality oversight of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, testing, and final product release.
- Interface with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and customers on quality matters.
- Monitor project quality performance, including nonconformances, corrective actions, quality metrics, and customer quality issues.
- Ensure QA personnel are adequately trained and qualified for their assigned responsibilities.
- Promote a quality culture based on prevention, accountability, continuous improvement, and effective problem solving.

What You Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance management role, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with audits, nonconformance management, corrective action, root-cause analysis, and quality improvement.
- Ability to interpret customer, contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Project Management.
- Experience in the commercial nuclear industry and familiarity with ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ISO 9001, and/or ISO 19443.

- Engineering or technical background in valves, mechanical equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
- Lead Auditor or Quality Auditor certification.
