About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Manager drives revenue across this exciting new opening along the Williamsburg waterfront in the landmark Domino Sugar Factory. The property will include two distinct concepts working both as separate businesses and harmonious both a 750-capacity music venue and neighborhood Italian restaurant. They are responsible for private events, client buyouts, and experiential activations from first outreach through contract, execution, and post-event reconciliation, carrying individual event P&Ls and revenue targets for both spaces. Working closely with the Sr. General Manager, Finance Manager, and the venue and restaurant operations teams, they move signed business into clean operational handoffs, and maintain the forecasting and pipeline reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy & Goal Setting

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and outreach plans to meet annual revenue targets across music venue and restaurant operations.
- Establish revenue goals, pricing structures, and sales forecasts in coordination with executive leadership.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales tactics and maximize venue profitability.

Private Events, Corporate Accounts & Sales Execution

- Proactively source, negotiate, and close private events, corporate buyouts, and third-party activations across both spaces.
- Manage full sales pipeline, contracts, BEO creation, individual event P&Ls, and post-event financial reconciliation with Finance and Ops teams.
- Cultivate preferred vendor partnerships and drive ancillary spend through upselling amenities and services.
- Lead and oversee the events manager to support event strategy, coordination, and execution.
- Manage the contracted partner company responsible for driving private events business, maximizing event volume and sales output.

Requirements

- 3–5+ years of experience in sales leadership and event management within high-volume hospitality, live music, or entertainment concepts.
- Proven track record of pitching, negotiating, and closing high-value corporate accounts and private buyouts to consistently meet revenue targets.
- Strong local network and active client relationships across corporate, agency, and event industries.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, event P&L management, and organizational skills.
