## Job Summary



Summary:
The Process Engineer will be based in Flex GDL South , reporting to Process Engineering Manager.
Responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity, cost, and delivery performance. Drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports new product introductions (NPI), and ensures process stability across production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Analyze and resolve process-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain robust process parameters, controls, and process documentation.
- Support daily production operations to achieve quality, productivity, delivery, and yield targets.
- Lead process improvement projects focused on cycle time reduction, waste elimination, cost savings, and capacity optimization.
- Support NPI activities, process transfers, engineering changes (ECOs), and implementation of new technologies.
- Evaluate, justify, and implement capital equipment, tooling, and manufacturing technologies.
- Apply statistical analysis and process control methodologies to improve process capability and product quality.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Test, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to drive operational excellence.
- Develop training materials and provide technical guidance to production personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- Experience as Process Engineering in electronics manufacturing or a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting production, process optimization, NPI, and continuous improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Experience with process validation, process capability studies, and documentation control.
- Knowledge of SMT, PCBA, assembly processes, automation, or related manufacturing technologies is preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced English communication skills.
