Meet the Team
The Cisco Insight Partner team runs one of Cisco's largest and fastest-moving partnerships. Insight is a Fortune 500 solutions integrator headquartered in Chandler, and our team is embedded right alongside their sellers. We build joint strategy, run programs that move the needle, and make sure Cisco is the first name Insight's account managers think of when a customer needs networking, security, collaboration, data center, or AI infrastructure and software. We're a close team that competes hard, moves quickly, and has fun doing it.
Your Impact
In this role you are Cisco on Insight's sales floor. You'll own our SMB and Mid-Market motion with Insight: building relationships with their account managers, turning open quotes into closed deals, and getting every seller the programs, promos, and technical know-how to lead with Cisco. If you like being where the action is, can connect strategy to everyday selling, and get energy from a busy sales floor, this role is for you.
- Own the floor: Spend 3–4 days a week on site at Insight's Chandler HQ. Walk the sales floor, sit with account managers, and become their go-to Cisco resource.
- Drive the SMB/MM rhythm: Lead regular cadence calls with Cisco and Insight account managers to review pipeline, unblock deals, and keep both teams working the same plan.
- Run the pipeline: Manage the SMB/MM pipeline and top deal tracker. Follow up on open quotes relentlessly and analyze deal registration trends to find where we're winning and where we're leaving money on the table.
- Make incentives work: Pull Cisco SPIFFs, promotions, and programs into one clear view. Teach the Insight sales teams how to use them, and share them with peer Partner Account Managers so the whole team benefits.
- Build demand: Plan and support demand generation events, call campaigns, sales contests, and initiatives that create pipeline.
- Enable and educate: Deliver monthly training on Cisco technology and tools like Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW), working with Cisco and Insight technical teams so account managers can position and quote with confidence.
- Focus where it counts: Choose a set of focus account managers each quarter for higher-touch coaching and joint planning, and measure the lift.
- Plan strategically: Build and maintain the US SMB/MM account plan and heat map to show where opportunity is concentrated and where to invest next.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years in sales, business development, or channel/partner roles
- Must live in the Phoenix metro area and be able to work in the office at Insight's Chandler HQ 3–4 days a week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a partner, channel, or distribution sales environment, ideally with exposure to the Cisco portfolio or a similar technology stack
- Comfortable managing pipeline and deal data; strong with Excel, CRM tools, and turning numbers into a clear story and next steps
- Relationship builder who earns credibility quickly with sellers, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams at both Cisco and the partner
- Confident presenter and trainer who can explain technology and programs in a way that makes sellers want to act
- Organized self-starter who can balance many initiatives in a fast-paced, high-energy setting and bring creativity, positivity, and follow-through
- Familiarity with CCW, Cisco partner programs, or deal registration processes is a plus
