Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced BI / Tableau Administrator to support enterprise reporting and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Tableau Cloud administration, Azure SQL Database, Salesforce, SQL troubleshooting, and platform support.
The candidate will be responsible for platform administration, incident management, troubleshooting, user support, monitoring, and ensuring the reliability of business-critical reporting and analytics services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Monitor platform health, extract refreshes, subscriptions, and scheduled jobs.
- Troubleshoot Tableau performance, connectivity, and reporting issues.
- Provide technical support to report developers, analysts, and business users.
- Deploy and promote reports across different environments.
- Support and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database environments used for enterprise reporting.
- Investigate reporting data issues and perform data validation activities.
- Monitor database connectivity, query performance, and data refresh processes.
- Assist with SQL/SOQL troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Monitor and support Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines integrating Salesforce and other source systems with Azure SQL Database.
- Troubleshoot data load failures, integration issues, and data quality problems.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve reporting and integration incidents.
- Collaborate with development and integration teams during deployments and incident resolution.
- Support MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) environments and integrations impacting reporting platforms.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow SDLC best practices.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members.
- Collaborate with architects and management on technical design, architecture decisions, work estimation, and resource planning.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in BI administration, reporting platforms, or related technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud administration and support .
- Experience managing Tableau users, groups, projects, permissions, and security.
- Experience supporting enterprise dashboards, reporting, and analytics platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Azure SQL Database or similar relational databases.
- Knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and data architecture best practices.
- Experience with Salesforce user administration, including user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Ability to troubleshoot user access, reporting issues, environment management, and data connectivity.
- Experience managing incidents, troubleshooting complex issues, and coordinating escalations.
- Knowledge of SDLC processes and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively manage tasks, and drive requirements through implementation.
- Experience collaborating with architects and stakeholders on technical solutions and best practices.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) .
- Experience with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) or MuleSoft integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce data integration and reporting environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
