Job Description
Logic20/20 is seeking a Data Governance Lead to join our growing AI & Analytics practice. In this role, you'll help clients establish and mature enterprise data governance capabilities by defining governance frameworks, enabling data stewardship programs, improving data quality processes, and driving adoption of data management best practices.
The ideal candidate is an experienced data governance professional who can partner with business and technical stakeholders, define governance operating models, facilitate stewardship programs, and drive adoption of enterprise data management practices. This position will play a key role in building the foundational governance framework that supports ongoing data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship across client organizations.
Role Responsiblities
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise data governance processes and frameworks.
- Confirm and define data stewardship roles, responsibilities, and ownership models for critical data domains.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify critical data elements and associated governance requirements.
- Assess current-state governance practices, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Review existing Enterprise Data Management (EDM) processes and establish governance standards and operating procedures.
- Develop and maintain data governance playbooks, policies, and implementation guidance.
- Create and manage governance roadmaps that support organizational data strategy objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions related to data stewardship, accountability, and governance adoption.
- Support metadata management, data ownership alignment, and governance operating model development.
- Collaborate with data governance, stewardship, and technical teams to drive governance execution and adoption.
- Provide governance guidance and recommendations as the organization expands data management capabilities and tooling.
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Stewardship, or related disciplines.
- Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks and operating models.
- Strong understanding of data stewardship, data ownership, metadata management, and data quality concepts.
- Familiarity with data catalog, metadata management, or governance platforms such as Ataccama.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and building alignment across business and technology teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable governance processes.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience developing governance documentation, playbooks, standards, and operating procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Ability to work across U.S. time zones and travel up to once per quarter based on client and project needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting and/or Utility industry experience highly preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise data management or data governance transformation initiatives.
- Experience establishing stewardship programs and governance councils.
- Product Owner, Business Analyst, or governance leadership experience within large enterprise environments
Additional Information
At Logic20/20, we believe in recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent. Logic20/20 offers a competitive compensation package, with a target base salary range of $140,483 - $153,825 for this role. The final base salary offered is dependent on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Eligible employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses and other incentives.
