Pinkbox Doughnuts is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive Operations Services Coordinator to help ensure operational excellence across all shop locations. This role is responsible for conducting audits and inspections, maintaining compliance with food safety and brand standards, reviewing operational documentation, and supporting process consistency throughout the organization.
Job Description
Auditing and Quality Assurance
- Conduct scheduled and unannounced inspections of shops using a standardized checklist covering cleanliness, food safety, food quality and brand look-and-feel.
- Assess the guest-facing experience against Pink Box brand guidelines, including display case presentation, signage and menu boards, lighting, music, merchandising, uniforms, etc.
- Document findings with photos and written reports, score shops consistently, and share results with shop leaders and Operations leadership.
- Partner with shop managers on corrective action plans and follow up to confirm issues are resolved.
- Track inspection scores over time to spot trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for additional training.
- Flag facility and equipment concerns that need maintenance or vendor attention.
Process Standardization
- Review required shop documents for accuracy, completeness, and current dates, such as food safety logs (temperature, cleaning, and sanitation logs), food handler and manager certifications, health permits and business licenses, required labor and workplace postings, and incident reports.
- Audit operational paperwork such as checklists, waste logs, prep and production sheets, and cash or inventory records as assigned.
- Maintain an organized tracker of permit, license, and certification expiration dates and give shops advance notice of renewals.
- Make sure every shop has the most current versions of SOPs, recipes, brand guides, and posted materials, and remove outdated versions.
- Coach shop teams on proper documentation habits and escalate gaps to Operations leadership.
Cross Functional Support
- Help plan and execute new product and promotional rollouts across shops, including readiness checks, shop communications, training materials, and on-site launch support.
- Act as a liaison between shops and the commissary on product flow, order accuracy, quality concerns, and delivery issues.
- Gather feedback from shop teams after launches and recommend improvements to future rollouts.
- Support new shop openings, remodels, and special events as needed.
- Partner with Marketing, Culinary, Training, and Facilities teams on operational initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in a supervisory food and beverage role, multi-unit preferred
- Familiarity with retail food establishment regulations and local health department codes
- Ability to conduct routine sanitation, storage, and food preparation audits
- Ability to create and analyze logs (temperatures, waste, customer complaints) to spot trends and resolve issues
- Strong comfortability with computer operations including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint. Familiarity with Restaurant 365 a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize projects, work under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail
- Maintain a valid Food Handlers certification and ServSafe Manager certification
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
