General Summary:

We are looking for a social-native marketer to join our team in a community-focused, trend-led social role. The ideal candidate will be deeply plugged into social platforms, fan communities, creator culture, and emerging formats, with the ability to identify what is gaining momentum and translate those insights into timely, brand-appropriate content opportunities. This role will support community management across owned and non-owned channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X, with an additional focus on creative participation: spotting trends, developing social-first ideas, drafting culturally relevant responses, and helping the team move faster against real-time moments. Reporting to the Manager of Social Content, the right candidate must be curious, proactive, creative, and able to turn community conversation into actionable content ideas.

Responsibilities include:

- Actively monitoring owned and non-owned social communities to identify emerging platform trends, fan behaviors, conversation themes, creator formats, and real-time engagement opportunities.
- Developing quick-turn social content ideas based on trends, community conversations, product moments, cultural moments, and platform-native formats.
- Writing social-first copy, replies, comments, captions, and lightweight content concepts that align with brand voice while feeling native to each platform.
- Strategically following and engaging with customer, partner, influencer, creator, and media accounts to identify opportunities for amplification, collaboration, participation, and real-time response.
- Surfacing trends and audience insights to the broader social team, including clear brand approach recommendations.
- Partnering with social strategy, content, creative, and product teams to turn community insights into content briefs, reactive posts, engagement prompts, and recurring social formats.
- Maintaining community management fundamentals, including social listening and reporting, escalating issues, and routing technical inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

- 3-5 years of social media, community management, content creation, or platform-native social experience.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, internet culture, creator trends, community behavior, and what makes content feel native to each channel.
- Experience engaging communities on platforms such as Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Strong copywriting, social ideation, and creative judgment.
- Experience creating short-form social content, reactive posts, community prompts, memes, creator-style concepts, or other lightweight social executions.
- Experience with social listening, trend tracking, community reporting, or turning audience insights into actionable content recommendations.
- Interest in technology, mobile, PC, gaming, AI, sports, entertainment, creator culture, or other passion areas relevant to the brand’s social communities.
- Experience working with a social media management or listening system like Sprout Social.
- Experience collaborating with creative, content, strategy, product, and community teams to move quickly from trend identification to social execution.
- Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed for live moments, events, launches, and real-time social opportunities.
- Responsive, curious, culturally aware, and able to use both instinct and data to make smart social decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where social trends, community conversations, and brand priorities move quickly.
