We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Assistant Vice President, New Business.
In this role you will:
- Manage CPF projection and deduction files, including uploading, downloading, reconciliation and discrepancy investigation.
- Monitor and clear CPF-related in-baskets, including pending projection returns, special handling, unsuccessful deduction listings and pending deduction returns.
- Work with IT to troubleshoot Shield processing issues and reconcile total cases uploaded and downloaded.
- Manage daily email and query clearance from internal and external customers, distributors and New Business teams, routing matters to the appropriate staff.
- Process policy issuance for New Business and rider additions by checking document completeness, verifying captured data and submitting cases for CPF deduction.
- Handle freelook, withdrawal and refund requests, including requirements follow-up, amount calculations, letter preparation and refund approval.
- Coordinate medical report and billing administration, including provider liaison, payment preparation, reminders, reconciliation, cheque preparation and monthly management reporting.
- Support policy bundling and wider operations through reprints, manual bundle preparation, reconciliation, exception handling, system reporting, refund and status-letter preparation, data extraction, error troubleshooting and ad hoc projects or system enhancements.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience with High Net Worth processing would be an advantage.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and support overtime requirements during month-end closing and the last Saturday of the month, when needed.
- Demonstrates a positive and proactive work attitude.
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses basic mathematical and financial knowledge.
- Able to manage multiple tasks while collaborating effectively as a team player.
