For our client in **Lausanne**, we are looking for an experienced **Digital Workplace Engineer - 3rd Level Support.**
In this role, youwill provide ongoing support for enterprise information systems and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to the integration, deployment, and operation of End-User Compute services, including the Azure Virtual Desktop platform.
**Your Responsibilities:**
* Handling of complex incidents escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 Support, including largescale crashes and operatiing system malfunctions
* Draft and maintain technical procedures and share knowledge with 1st & 2nd Level support teams (incl. deliver in-person and remote training to employees)
* Perform root cause analysis by reviewing logs, crash dumps, and related technical data to identify recurring issues and their underlying causes
* Support continuous improvement by deploying automated patches through endpoint management tools and maintaining device compliance with security and hardening standards
* Use scripting languages such as PowerShell to automate recurring administrative tasks and corrective actions.
* Understand business needs and support the collection and clarification of functional requirements.
* Create basic training materials, such as tip sheets and short recordings, to support user adoption of new tools and features.
**Your Profil:**
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
* **5+ years of professional experience in IT, with a strong focus on digital workplace or end-user computing service**s in a multinational business environment
* Experience in **business systems analysis and operational support**
* Strong understanding of workplace processes, applications, and technologies, including **Entra ID, Active Directory, Autopilot, Intune, Unified Endpoint Management, endpoint security solutions such as Microsoft Defender, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and Microsoft 365**
* Good knowledge of the **ITIL framework** and service management principles
* Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong team-oriented mindset
* Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
* Ability to work to deadlines and maintain quality in a dynamic environment
* Excellent communication skills
* **Fluency in English,** working knowledge of French or German is an advantage
