About this role
We're seeking casual Catering Assistants to be part of our dynamic, supportive, and food-passionate crew. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love great food, and enjoy creating memorable experiences - we want to hear from you!
You will have Frontline Flair – Delivering top-notch service, helping with events, and setting up beautiful tables. You will be an All-Round Helper – From clearing plates to keeping the buffet fresh, you're there where it counts.
You must be available for work from 14th-21st November and through December leading up to Christmas.
Who We’re Looking For
Whether you're experienced or looking to build your skills, we’re after team players who:
· Are reliable, practical, and ready to pitch in
· Have a passion for food and great service
· Keep things clean, organised, and safe
· Communicate well and bring a positive attitude
· Ideally hold a full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence, but not essential
· Can work flexible hours and handle the heat of busy service

Welcome to The University of Canterbury Students’ Association (UCSA)
Established in 1894, the UCSA is a registered not-for-profit organisation that supports UC students to succeed and belong.
Our organisation is governed by an elected Student Executive, and we employ over 300 staff. Together, we dish up a range of student-focused services, including advocacy and welfare, representation, subsidised dental and optometry, early learning centres, club support, events, and media.
The UCSA commercial team manages several cafes and bars, as well as sizeable catering and events teams delivering services to students, staff, external customers and commercial partners.
