HPS Internal Consulting is a new service pillar of the HPS Central Office that specializes in project management support, process optimization, and transformation support serving internal clients across Siemens Healthineers. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Management Consultant to join our team.
HPS Senior Management Consultants are leading high-priority consulting projects for our internal clients and driving continuous improvement activities within our complex matrix organization. In this role, you will be responsible for applying various proven methodologies, enhancing operational efficiency, boosting productivity, driving transformation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across Siemens Healthineers.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You lead operations and performance improvement engagements from opportunity identification and project scoping through implementation, sustainment, and value realization.
- You diagnose end-to-end operational performance through data analysis, direct process observation, stakeholder interviews, value stream mapping, and root-cause analysis.
- You identify and prioritize improvement levers across productivity, cost, quality, lead time, delivery performance, capacity, and working capital.
- You translate insights into future-state value streams, effective management systems, pragmatic implementation roadmaps, and operating routines that deliver sustainable results.
- You facilitate Lean workshops, Kaizen events, structured problem-solving sessions, and executive decision-making forums.
- You work side by side with process owners and operational teams to implement improvements, remove barriers, and build ownership for sustained performance.
- You establish and track operational and financial KPIs, validate realized benefits, and create governance that ensures transparency and accountability.
- You independently manage client stakeholders, project scope, resources, risks, and budgets while maintaining delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.
- You coach consultants and client teams in Lean thinking, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement, while helping advance our consulting methodologies and service offerings.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You bring several years of consulting experience in operations excellence, Lean transformation, manufacturing excellence, supply chain optimization, or performance improvement.
- You have deep hands-on expertise in Lean management and continuous improvement, including Value Stream Mapping, Structured Problem Solving, Kaizen, flow optimization, visual management, and performance management systems.
- You have a proven track record of leading operational improvement engagements from diagnostic and solution design through implementation and measurable benefit realization.
- You have delivered measurable impact in areas such as productivity, cost, quality, lead time, delivery performance, capacity, or working capital.
- You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- You are willing to travel up to 30% to internal client sites as required by project needs.
- Spoken and written fluency in English and German is required.
Important: We are seeking experienced consultants who combine strong Lean implementation expertise with relevant experience in a leading external management or operations consulting environment. Candidates without both qualifications cannot be considered for this position.

- You have strong facilitation, change management, and stakeholder alignment skills in complex global matrix organizations.
- You communicate complex analyses and operational insights through clear executive presentations, compelling storylines, and actionable recommendations.
- Ideally, you have advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
