The Position

The Finance Excellence Partner (FxP) is instrumental in transforming finance into a more efficient, effective, and networked organization that maximizes impact on the business and customer journey.

As Finance Excellence Partner (FxP) you play a crucial role in streamlining finance operations by simplifying, standardizing, automating, and utilising insights for enhanced decision making. you collaborate closely with the commercial finance team, as well as other regional and global finance colleagues. You contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation as well as drive automation and digitalization across finance.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the FXP team include but are not limited to:

- Support the preparation and submission of the budget and the three-year business plan for the Legal Entity (full P&L) in close collaboration with the commercial finance team, regional and global teams;
- Contribute actively to continuous improvement to radically simplify the planning process,
- Analyze deviations vs budget and investigate key P&L line items, expenses by nature and/or destination and key department driving spent
- Identify and analyze opportunities for financial improvements end to end by engaging the appropriate parts of the organization
- Work closely with the Shared Service Center to deliver timely and high quality Month End closings
- Own recurring reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and provisions, with supporting documentation and in alignment with RSS colleagues
- Manage the execution of allocations, re-allocations and true-ups in line with defined drivers and SLAs, and support their standardization and automation
- Own end to end cost center planning for selected areas (ie: personnel expenses) in close collaboration with respective function
- Drive and/or support master data management (maintenance, cleansing) in collaboration with master data owners
- Monitor Operating Expenses evolution, CAPEX, NOA, FTEs in close collaboration with your designated area of responsibility and proactively identify opportunities to drive improvements and rationalize spent,
- Act as Finance Business Partner for a dedicated non-customer facing function (e.g. Supply Chain Site Management, or others as Administration, People & Culture, IT and Service Cost Centers)
- Support  business cases and projects to maximise long term financial impact and business execution
- Prepare inputs and materials for executive presentations to drive decision making
- Act as finance contact for recurring regional/global queries on expenses, actuals and onboarding for the assigned area
- Implement automation of recurring finance routines (allocations, reconciliations, reporting) in line with business requirements, chapter standards, and priorities agreed in conjunction within the wider finance team and RSS

Who You Are

- You have 5 years of working experience in multinational companies and/or audit
- You bring strong business and financial acumen
- You are a team player that aims to continue grow and develop within finance
- You are passionate about delivering tangible value for stakeholders and the business.
- You have demonstrated knowledge and expertise of key financial processes and accounting principles.
- You possess strong analytical skills and data driven decision maker.
- You are a systems thinker understanding the downstream and upstream impact.
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate ability to simplify
- You have the ability to build strong relationships and strong team player
- Strong SAP experience in FI, CO, MM, COPA is a plus
- English and Spanish written and spoken is a must.
