We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Underwriting Services

In this role, you will:

- Create and maintain credit applications adhering to set policies and procedures.

- Liaise with Credit Advisory/Relationship Teams/Credit Service Executives

- Produce facility and security documentation.

- Meet productivity and accuracy targets stipulated in the service standards.

- Effectively investigate issues/problems. Resolve or refer with appropriate recommendations.

- Participate in team meetings and activities. Promote team spirit and cohesiveness. Proactively share best practices.

- Support the Company’s diversity programs.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Understand the impact of our actions on our clients if errors occur.

- Avoid potential losses by following established procedures and ensuring controls are followed.

- Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve work performance.

- Understanding the complexity of the Private Banking systems, asset classes and controls.

- Complete processes within timeframes set.

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

- Knowledge of and experience in problem solving techniques

- Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately

- Ability to meet tight deadlines

- Ability to build rapport and relate to a wide range of people

- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
