Manager - Finance & Accounts
Job Description
Responsible for managing financial records, monitoring costs and budgets, supporting audits, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing timely financial information for business decision-making. The role will work closely with different departments to maintain financial accuracy, improve control processes, and support business growth.
Responsibilities: -

- Prepare monthly financial reports and support period-end closing activities.

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely account reconciliations.
- Track business expenses against approved budgets and highlight significant differences.
- Review and monitor operational costs, inventory-related expenses, and project costs.
- Support preparation of management reports, financial analyses, and performance summaries.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents for statutory, internal, and cost audits.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Prepare financial schedules, supporting documents, and reports required for management and regulatory purposes.
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities.
- Monitor export and import financial transactions, banking activities, and related documentation.
- Follow up on receivables, payments, and other financial commitments to ensure timely settlement.
- Work with internal stakeholders to improve financial controls and reporting processes.
- Support business teams by providing meaningful financial insights and recommendations.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance requirements.

- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.

- Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Excel.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

- Ability to manage multiple assignments within timelines.

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience:

- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts, preferably in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial organizations.
