AI Developer

Summary of Position: substantial / major Tasks:

The Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive business operations. He/she collaborates with cross-functional teams to create efficient and reliable solutions. Main responsibilities of this role are to provide estimates, to develop the software throughout all phases of the development cycle, to validate the solution concept regarding technical feasibility as well as to align the solution with the architectural landscape.

Define technical concept of desired solution. Execute and deliver solution within time and budget constraints.

Implemented and documented solution based on defined framework and defined software quality standards.

Build or integrate solution - develop solution according to selected development platform or integrate buy-in software. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Ensure proper software development and coding.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Solution Architects in designing with domain specific knowledge. Perform implementation of software solutions. Develop new features and enhance existing applications.

Ensure software solution meets functional requirements.

Write unit tests and perform integration testing. Debug and troubleshoot issues in code.

Verify solution regarding desired solution and acceptance criteria. Ensure software quality and reliability.

Provide feedback and suggestions for process and product improvements.

Improved process and product.

Document specification, design, features and operation of application.

Ensure proper documentation.

Designing AI solutions that are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals and choosing the appropriate technology stack and tools.

Well defined blueprint for AI solutions and a robust technology foundation ready to be scaled that supports AI development and deployment ensuring to meet business objectives.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill / Competency and Responsibility Requirements

Type of required functional knowledge (depth, breadth):

- Proficiency in coding languages, frame works and platforms

- Service orientation

- Excellent analytical thinking

- Proficiency in analyzing complex problems and propose effective solutions

- Ability to think outside the box to develop innovative solutions

- Familiarity in agile development

- Creating and setting up AI Infrastructure & environment for deploying and managing AI solutions

- Assessing AI Tools and practices across data, models and software engineering focusing on continuous improvement and identifying areas for enhancement

- Professional understanding of Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV) and Generative AI (GAI)

Type and length of experience required for the position:

- At least 5 years professional domain experience as an IT software engineering specialist

Further skills and competencies required:

- Good spoken and written language skills (EN, assignment country language is a benefit)

- Intercultural competences due to international cooperation

- Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

- Documentation skills – able to clearly summarize and document processes and validation results
