Designation: Associate Engineer I - Quality Control    Primary/ Specific Responsibilities:
1. Conducting incoming inspections for Supplier received parts such as raw materials, mechanical parts, composites, etc. 2. Preparing incoming inspection procedures & test reports. 3. Verification of Supplier received documents such as test reports, drawing & COC. 4. Performing ERP transactions of Supplier received parts. 5. On-time inspection/clearance of received materials. 6. Reporting the Non-conformances observed during the inspections. 7. Communicating the rejection details to SQA & SCM. 8. Addressing NC actions assigned to IQC. 9. Collaborate with Engineering team in order to jigs & fixture's development. 10. Suggest improvements at IQC processes or inspection methods.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stores/warehouse teams for proper labeling, segregation, and storage of inspected items. 2. Assisting Supplier Quality team in performing the First Article inspection. 3. Support other quality functions like in-process inspections or final quality checks, especially during peak workload or leave coverage.
Education Qualification: B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Required years of experience: 3 - 4 Years
