Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the build, maintenance, and operation of global transfer pricing/intercompany calculations for Alphabet’s most complex entities by exercising creative and inventive thinking to achieve optimized efficiency using the latest technology. You will balance your data management and process execution skills with tax or transfer pricing experience by engaging in various data intensive transfer pricing and process innovation work streams. Your key relationships and stakeholders will range from tax experts, accounting/finance experts and engineers.

US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in transfer pricing.
- Experience with project management, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influencing.
- Experience in data analytics, database management, workflow automation, and cross-functional project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing or building transfer pricing, intercompany, or tax calculations.
- Experience working with SAP and utilizing AI tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical, data-handling, and problem-solving skills with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Lead the end-to-end build, maintenance, and operationalization of transfer pricing and intercompany calculations for Alphabet’s most complex entities.
- Serve as a team data specialist, maintaining critical tax/financial data and partnering on finance-wide cross-functional initiatives.
- Build databases and perform in-depth analysis on tax datasets to identify key trends, anomalies, and potential operational risks.
- Partner with engineering and tax teams to automate workflows and transform transfer pricing processes using modern technology.
- Manage SOX controls, documentation, and global tracking across 200+ entities while proactively prioritizing urgent stakeholder needs.
