What You'll Be Doing
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
- Welcome customers and assist them with remittance transactions.
- Help customers complete required forms and understand Mukuru's products and services.
- Create a positive and professional customer experience with every interaction.
Process Transactions with Accuracy
- Perform KYC checks and verify customer documentation.
- Process inbound and outbound transactions accurately.
- Verify and handle cash responsibly, ensuring all transactions comply with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor transaction limits according to central bank regulations.
Protect Our Customers and Business
- Identify and escalate suspicious transactions.
- Support customers with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) requirements when necessary.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, security, and risk awareness.
- Conduct daily security checks and safeguard company assets.
Keep Operations Running Smoothly
- Perform daily cash balancing and cash-ups.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ensure the booth is clean, secure, and ready for business every day.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support seamless operations.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience within the financial services sector.
Skills That Will Set You Apart
- Excellent numeracy and cash-handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Knowledge of KYC/FICA requirements and financial compliance processes.
- Understanding of foreign currency transactions will be advantageous.
