As a Field Sales Service Technician ( in Sollentuna Sweden), is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing dialysis machines and water treatment systems. The role combines field service activities at hospitals and healthcare facilities with project coordination and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has a technical background in medical technology, electronics, or engineering, is customer-oriented, able to work independently, and willing to travel regularly. The position offers extensive training, a high level of responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to life-saving healthcare solutions within an international environment.
Your Responsibilities:
As a service technician, you are part of a team of seven employees who work with similar tasks but with a slightly different focus and there are good opportunities to continue learning new areas of technology. In the Nordics, you share your experience and knowledge with other collogues and occasionally meet them.
As a service technician/engineer, you have a flexible role with varied tasks. It is important that the rules, procedures and regulations setup for the repair of the machines are followed to the letter.
Your main tasks will include
- Servicing of medical equipment at customer´s side
- Support the hospital's technicians by phone
- Preventive maintenance of dialysis machines
- Repair of minor equipment sent to the office
- Installing new dialysis machines and equipment
- Document and report your activities in a technical reporting system
Your Profile:
We are looking for you with education in medical technology, electronics or other relevant education, preferable medical background. We see that you are a driven person with a desire to learn as motivation is important for the role. Your home location can be Stockholm region or surroundings.
Professional experience:
- Education in the above-mentioned field
- Experience in working in hospital environment would be considered as an advantage
- Service-minded and customer focused attitude
IT skills:
- Understand and use modern communication software and systems
- Strong IT user knowledge (MS Office 365)
- Understand basics of e-health, data security and related topics
- Up-to-date knowledge of IT and digitalization
Language skills:
- You are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish
- Proficient in English, as Fresenius Medical Care is German-owned and training and other major meetings are held in English, and it is important that you are comfortable with the English language in speech and writing.
Personal competencies:
- Strong customer orientation and ability to represent FME towards the customers
- Strong professional attitude characterized by a result, quality, patient, and customer-oriented working style

You will be provided by although training together with colleagues who have also worked in the company for a long time. Every Monday starts with a service meeting where the team jointly reviews what has happened in the previous week and what is happening in the coming week. Although the company is large and the industry is regulated, the Swedish part is smaller and there are good opportunities to make your voice heard.
You will have a role with a lot of responsibility where you will have the opportunity to organised your days and weeks independently. You will be travelling maximum 50 nights a year in connection with the installation, repairs and service issues that cannot be done over the phone. On the nights you sometimes sleep elsewhere, you will receive an extra allowance in addition to the tax-free part.
The working hours for the position are 35 hours/week and you have a relatively high degree of flexibility to plan your travelling around the country. You will be offered a good basic salary with a bonus component and an attractive benefits package that includes:
