Job Description
AECOM Tishman has an immediate need for a Project Manager in New York City.
- Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
- Well versed in every phase of the project life cycle including RFP submission, pre-con logistics planning, bidding and negotiation, and project closeout.
- Fosters collaboration of all project stakeholders and builds lasting relationships with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS in Engineering, Business Management, Construction Management + 6 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements:
- OSHA 30
- Experience with NYC Building Codes.
- NYC SST active credentials.
- Experience from a larger GC is preferred.
- Proficient in Procore, e-Builder, Bluebeam Revu
- Experience with bidding and negotiation, construction administration, and project closeout.
- Experience building lasting relationships with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
