You'll take a practical, solutions-focused approach, building strong and trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You will work collaboratively with the team and be given opportunities to contribute to the further growth and development of the department. You will also balance this collaborative approach with the confidence to manage your own workload and take initiative.
The team
Our Employment team provides the highest level of advice to a large portfolio of clients, primarily commercial clients (from owner managed to FTSE 100 businesses) but also senior executives and individuals who need support with complex employment issues.
Our successful and professional team of solicitors includes three partners and has a wealth of experience. The team receives praise each year from the Legal 500 directory which has described the team as “excellent” and which recommends all three of our Partners. The team was also very proud to have been named Employment Team of the Year at the 2024 Manchester Legal Awards.
The team works collaboratively and with a culture of support and development for all. It also works closely with our Corporate, Commercial and Dispute Resolution teams where matters straddle these disciplines. It has a vacancy due to the growth in work from our clients.

Our firm
Myerson is a Top 200 UK Law Firm as recognised by The Lawyer. We are also proud to be ranked ‘Top Tier’ by The Legal 500, commended by The Times ‘Best Law Firms', and accredited as ‘World Class’ in the Best Companies League Table 2023.
We are one of the largest independent law firms in the North West, a bold claim we are proud to make because it’s been hard won. No instant growth through acquisition or merger. Instead, growth earned from our day-to-day endeavours, an entrepreneurial approach to doing business, and a rock-solid reputation. We recruit staff who are motivated by our core values and have an affinity to our collegiate and independent ethos.
In September 2024, Myerson became a 100% employee-owned business. We are incredibly proud to have been the first law firm in the Manchester market to make this positive step to safeguard our independence, stability, and people first culture for years to come. Being employee-owned means shared responsibility, strong collaboration, and a difference our clients can feel.
As an award-winning law firm, we are passionate about finding eager, knowledgeable individuals and supporting them to become leaders in their field. We are strong advocates of a successful work/life balance, finding forward-thinking individuals with enthusiasm for their role.
