Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician 35 is responsible for providing initial support to production workers, resolving routine issues, executing tasks with direct supervision, maintaining records, troubleshooting process issues, ensuring adherence to standards, and assisting in engineering and commissioning activities to optimize manufacturing systems and workflows. The role acts as an initial support to production workers and operators, addresses routine queries and ensuring smooth operations within the production. The role completes tasks under general supervision and guidance, relies on support to ensure successful completion within specified parameters and objectives. The role verifies accurate records of production processes, equipment maintenance, and quality control measures in compliance with industry and company standards.

Your role:

- Acts as an initial support and provides assistance to production workers and operators as the primary point of contact, addresses their routine queries, resolves issues, and ensures smooth operations within the production environment.
- Performs non-repetitive tasks, decides on the method and sequence of work with direct supervision, and ensures efficient execution while adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Interprets assignments, clarifies potentially incomplete information, leverages individual interpretation skills to ensure a comprehensive understanding and effective execution of tasks, and adheres to existing procedures that provide direction on critical points and indicate a processing sequence.
- Works on projects spanning from a few days to a week, accommodates diverse project requirements and allows for flexibility in scheduling based on the complexity and scope of the tasks at hand.
- Completes tasks under direct supervision and guidance from colleagues or managers, relies on coaching and support to ensure the successful completion of work assignments within the specified parameters and objectives.
- Verifies and maintains accurate records of production processes, equipment maintenance, quality control measures, and any other relevant operational procedures in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Executes routine repairs on faulty equipment or systems, including replacing defective parts, adjusting settings, or performing minor adjustments to restore functionality.
- Participates in daily operational manufacturing tasks, identifies, and assesses problems using standard procedures, escalates issues to superiors, participates in planning and priority settings within their area of responsibility, and ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards within the manufacturing team.
- Assists in executing engineering and commissioning & qualification (C&Q) activities for the manufacturing facility, equipment, and related systems, conducts user (site) acceptance tests and prepares operational documents to optimize manufacturing systems and workflows.

Minimum required Experience:
Hands-on experience in Injection Molding and Automation system

Minimum required Certification:
PLC, Injection Molding, or other relevant technical certifications.

Preferred Education:
Diploma (associate degree) in Engineering or a related technical field

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment with Injection Molding processes and equipment/Tooling Maintenance.
- Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and industrial automation systems.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an onsite role.
